Soft Launched in 2024

STEAMPower

Science and Technology Learning Hub

Rotorua & Eastern Bay of Plenty

What is the STEAMPower Learning Hub

The STEAMPower Learning Hub functions as a community-based hub for science and technology education. Experienced local educators will conduct comprehensive group sessions on various science and technology subjects, catering to students of all age groups including early childhood.

What’s happening now:

The STEAMPower Hub in Rotorua/EBOP  is now in soft launch phase.  This means that there is an educator available to deliver programmes like Launch into Coding and Launch into Robotics with your school now if you are based in Rotorua or the Eastern Bay of Plenty.  These programmes are free to your school and can be booked now – contact jessica@ministryofinspiration.org

We are also happy to announce we are able to support and run the regional Robocup Jr and NZAquabots Competition.

We are also running Code Club Eastside in Rotorua at Owhata Primary School.  This is open to all students in Rotorua aged 7+ to learn to code.

What’s happening in the future:

As we grow we will host holiday programs and after-school sessions, providing additional learning opportunities, as well as expanding our free in schools offerings.
